Sharing Our Stories to Speak Up Against AAPI Hate
Wednesday, April 28, 5:30-7 p.m.
In a safe and inclusive space, invited community members will 分享 their stories of lived experiences as AAPIs in today's culture and discuss ways in which we keep moving forward. Panelists include: Neleh Barcarse Poletsky, Francis Tanglao Aguas, Kim H. Nguyen, Melody Agbisit, Veronica Salcedo and Michelle Kim. This event is sponsored by the Office of Intercultural Relations, the Center for 教师 Development, Academic Affairs and the Office of 教师 Diversity and Retention.

Stronger Together: An AAPI Solidarity Reading
Monday, May 3, 5:30-7 p.m.
In response to recent heightened violence toward AAPI bodies and communities, ODU faculty and students come together for a reading of short poems and prose, either their original work, or by an AAPI writer. The event coincides with the start of AAPI Heritage Month and is presented by the 文学院 and 信, the Office of Intercultural Relations, the Center for 教师 Development, the Office of 教师 Diversity and Retention, the Department of World 文化s and Languages, the ODU Asian 教师 Caucus and the MFA Creative Writing Program.
